Gateway ID47 14 inch Review
Smaller netbooks as well as some notebooks have wider bezel around the screen. Gateway ID47 has a 14 inch display cased in a 13.3 inch case and they did this by decreasing the bezel size. Gateway ID47 notebook measures 1297″ x 8.95″ x 1.13″ and has a widescreen of 14 inches. The resolution is 1366 x 768 pixels which is very reasonable of this size of notebooks. It’s on the heavier side weighing full 4.6 pounds.
Gateway ID47 is run by Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge processor. It has Intel HD graphcis 3000, 4GB of DDR3 of RAM, a 500GB of storage. A 6 cell, 6000mAh battery should power up this netbook for 8 hours. Gateway ID47 has HDMI, 2 USB 2.0, and 1 USB 3.0. Speaker system is Dolby Audio. Gateway ID47 has a convenient Gateway MyBackup button which upon hitting will back that thing up. There is a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.
Including a $699 price tag comes, Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Adobe Reader, WildTangent Demo Games, Skype, Nook for PC, Norton Online Backup, and Microsoft Office 2010.
